Girl Band - The Talkies

Girl Band's latest album, recently named by the Irish Times as the best Irish record ever made. While that's a contentious title, it's hard to argue the quality. Produced by Daniel Fox, The Talkies is at the very least one of the most unique Irish records ever made - Dara Kiely's lyrics feature no pronouns across the entire album, while Al Duggan's guitars change your perception of what a guitar can sound like.
